Kempsey Shire is located on the NSW Mid North Coast. The Shire offers lush rainforests, rivers, mountains, rural backdrops, beaches and National Parks.

The Shire is the birthplace of Slim Dusty and home to that famous Australian icon, the Akubra hat.
